social media basically ruined it. I went from 2000 to 2002 with my tribe from Venice. I wanted to go back but I didn't expect it to really capture those first few experiences again. every now and then some of the people that I knew that went to festivals like this will get together up in Ojai but none of the earlier crowd wanted anything to do with what it's become.
