California’s version of “progressive" is progressively worse year over year. Cali drove out Hollywood 30 years ago with taxes and regulations. On the flip side they’ve let landlords build multi-tenant units with no parking and allowed those rents to skyrocket while they haven’t done anything about the upkeep of those buildings. Now we’re at a point where if four member family needs to make at least 100k to rent a house in an tough neighborhood just to have two bedroom.

I say undesirable sort of tongue and cheek because I’ve been leasing small (crappy) two bedroom home in Beverly Hills in one of the canyons for the last 10 years and the roads leading to and from my home are horrific. I actually had to sell a small, affordable, Fiat 500 that I had for commuting because the roads are so terrible the car scraped on everything and now I have to drive an SUV just did not have damage to my vehicle. Where exactly do my tax dollars go?

People repeatedly vote in one political party just to fight the other one, but things get progressively worse and worse. I’m willing to try a different party just because I have seen this horror show for the last 30 years and it gets worse.
